The Personal Website of Phil Crandlemire
Hello, and thanks for stopping by.
My name is Phil Crandlemire—designer, content creator, singer-songwriter, published author, freelance writer, performance poet, and all-around storyteller. I’ve lived a life filled with art, adventure, and authenticity, and this site is simply a place to share who I am, what I’ve done, and how I might be able to help you.
I’m a 7th-generation Mainer with deep roots in the heart of New England. My family has been on this land since before it was even a country—my earliest known American ancestor was born in 1774 in colonial New Jersey. My home is in Waterville, Maine, where I continue to draw inspiration from the natural beauty and quiet resilience of this place and its people.
I’ve been everything from a cowboy to a content creator. My wife and I ran an organic farm for 14 years—Naturally Good Farms—where we grew and sold produce to local restaurants and markets. I still have a deep passion for gardening, nature, and living simply but purposefully.
If you’re looking for a creative collaborator, a voice for your story, a digital designer, or just someone with real-world experience and a passion for helping others—I’d love to hear from you.

Thanks again for visiting. Whether you’re here to learn more, reminisce, or reach out—I’m glad you found your way.
Over the years, I’ve worn many hats:
Web & Graphic Designer – With decades of experience in digital design and development, I help individuals and small businesses bring their online vision to life.
Published Writer & Photojournalist – I’ve been published nationally, regionally, and locally as a journalist, essayist, and creative writer. I’m also the author of a book available on Amazon.
Singer-Songwriter & Performer – My music tells stories from the heart. I once had the honor of performing at the Hilton in Washington, D.C. for a group of Vietnam veterans, singing a song I wrote in memory of a friend who served and has since passed on.
Poet & Spoken Word Artist – I’ve performed on many stages, blending rhythm and reflection in the tradition of performance poetry.
Actor – You might even catch a glimpse of me in HBO’s Empire Falls.
Motorcycle and Snowmobile Racer – I’ve raced both motocross and road courses at Loudon Speedway in New Hampshire. When it came to winter, I traded two wheels for a sled and competed in snowmobile races throughout Maine.
